RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. -- The Great American Conference has revealed that Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Haley Hise has made the league’s inaugural all-conference list for women’s golf. Hise joins nine other players from four other schools who were voted among the league’s top 10 golfers.

Plyler averaged a 79.7 during the regular season, had six top 10 finishes, four top five finishes, one tournament victory and a low round of 73.
Joining Surtevall and Plyler on the All-GAC first team is Southern Arkansas senior Whitley Patterson (Meridian, Texas), Harding freshman Brittany Marquez (Cascade, Trinidad and Tobago) and Arkansas Tech senior Elizabeth Sweetnam (London, England).

Arkansas Tech head coach Amy White completed the Golden Suns’ sweep of the inaugural yearly awards by being voted as the league’s first ever coach of the year. White led the Golden Suns to nine top 10 finishes this season in all nine events in which the team participated. The lowest the team finished this season was a tie for 10th place out of 21 teams at the Central Oklahoma Fall Classic. ATU had three team championships this season and two runner-up performances, including this past week’s GAC championship tournament.
